Pastors back Harris, citing abortion, gays

A group of seven Central Florida pastors and Christian leaders Tuesday endorsed U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris for the U.S. Senate, saying incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson is wrong on issues important to evangelical Christian voters.

The pastors cited Nelson's position on abortion -- he generally supports abortion rights -- and his opposition to a constitutional amendment forbidding gay marriage.
